More About Bay Shepherds:
Bay Shepherds is a non-profit organization founded in late 2014 by Jacqueline (“Jax”) and Emma van der Veen. Motivated to action by the sight of trash in the beautiful Bay of Maine, the sisters ultimately took it upon themselves to improve the area in any way possible.
Bay Shepherds seeks to change the Maine coastline completely in the present and for as long as possible. The organization has a duty to clean the expansive Bay of Maine, educate Maine residents about certain practices, and engage in intense activism so as to affect the lives of this fine state for generations to come.
Bay Shepherds is open to anyone who wishes to improve upon the already wonderful Maine coastline. Send us an email today to get started!
